We opened our doors in 1987 as a small, local manufacturer and have grown tremendously with offices in the Boise, ID, USA area and multiple international sales as service locations. Requirements:

What qualifies someone for this position?

  • Previous Aviation MRO Experience is a plus.
  • An excellent working knowledge of the aerospace industry is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • BA/BS degree (or 5+ years’ experience with no college degree)
  • Must have great attention to detail to ensure accuracy and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills including MS Office software.

  • Develop strong brand awareness by contacting key industry executives and customer targets through sharing our capabilities, services, and expertise - building partnerships.
  • Create a deep MRO pipeline of business opportunities in the hangar maintenance business.
  • Strong capability to close sales while creating a book of business that will show year-over-year growth as defined by Leadership.
  • Understand and be capable of cross-selling all products and services provided by the ALVEST Group
  • Able to establish close relationships with customers’ top management and working level staff; always fostering and maintaining a friendly and credible appearance with customers.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations, understand and resolve customer emergencies, and balance customer needs with AERO factory/engineering and distributed suppliers’ needs.
  • Fulfill yearly targets defined by AERO’s management regarding market share, pricing, margin, lead time, and payment conditions.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and the after-sales service or spare parts departments.
  • Interact with customer service, field service, and engineering team members.
  • Organize and manage customer visits on-site or at relevant production facilities; Specify customer needs and feedback to facilities.
  • Report regularly on all customer visits and activities, competitors, industry, and market information to increase AERO’s market share; Create marketing and sales strategies that achieve measurable results; plan strategic selling process in the assigned sales area.
  • Understand and promote the cross-selling of all AERO branded products, spare parts, and other third-party GSE products that AERO represents at industry events, shows, customer visits, and meetings.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining promotion tools and documents specific to assigned sales areas.
  • Manage and optimize the expense budget in the best interest of AERO; realize budget sales and margin targets within budget constraints; analyze results and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Report, analyze, and explain whenever a business opportunity is lost.
  • Carry out a 6-month rolling sales forecasts monthly; ensure monthly sales budgets, booking, and invoicing are achieved; attend sales meetings and report latest activities, sales achievements, and forecast compared with the annual budget.
  • Communicate with other sales entities in the group; cooperate and coordinate the follow-up of global customers; attend and participate actively in Group sales network meetings.
  • Organize or participate in AERO factory training of sales team and customers in partnership with product engineers.
  • Coordinate the commissioning of the equipment with after-sales service when necessary.
  • Plan, coordinate, and/or conduct on-site technical training for customers and AERO agents as necessary.
